Restrologic POS, the restaurant point-of-sale suite

Restrologic POS is a restaurant point-of-sale suite for Indian outlets. It covers billing, kitchen orders, a waiter app, self-order kiosks, Swiggy and Zomato orders, reports and recipe-level inventory. About 300 outlets run on it today, from single stores to large multi-brand chains.

What is Restrologic POS?

Restrologic POS is a suite of restaurant software that runs the front counter, the kitchen, the waiter’s tablet and the delivery apps from one system. Menus, taxes, offers and stock are set once in the admin panel and reach every device. About 300 outlets use it today, with roughly 6 million orders processed between March and June 2026.

We built it in India, for how Indian restaurants and dessert chains trade: GST on every bill, Swiggy and Zomato on every counter, and staff who need to learn a screen in an afternoon.

Which parts does the suite include?

The suite has a small number of focused apps that share one database. Each one does a single job well, and each can be used without the others.

Surface What it does
POS terminal Billing, KOTs, split bills, card-machine payments, day open and close
Captain app Lets waiters take orders at the table and send them to the kitchen
Self-order kiosk Lets guests order and pay without queueing at the counter
Online-order desk (“Link”) Receives and manages Swiggy and Zomato orders in one place
Admin Menus, taxes, stores, staff, offers and recipes
Reports About 28 standard reports plus a custom report builder
Extras E-bill, a call-centre phone-order flow, a QR menu, receipt and KOT printing

How does billing work at the counter?

The cashier opens the day, takes orders, sends KOTs to the kitchen printer and closes the bill. Bills can be split by item or by guest. Card-machine payments are recorded against the bill, and the day is closed with a clear cash and payment summary. Receipts and KOTs print from the terminal, and an e-bill is available.

What does the waiter app do?

The captain app puts the menu on a tablet or phone. A waiter selects the table, adds items with notes, and the order reaches the kitchen at once. Guests who prefer to order themselves can use the kiosk or scan the QR menu, and those orders land in the same flow.

How does it work with Swiggy and Zomato?

Restrologic POS connects directly to Swiggy and Zomato, so aggregator orders appear on the online-order desk without a tablet per platform. The integration accepts orders automatically when you want it to, syncs your menu, and lets you switch single items or a whole store on or off.

Ratings and complaints from both platforms come into the same screen. That means the person at the counter does not need to log in to two partner dashboards during a rush. For more on how we work with delivery platforms, see our page on delivery and quick commerce.

How does recipe-level inventory work?

Recipe-level inventory means each menu item is linked to a recipe, and stock is deducted automatically from every order. A sale of one scoop, one burger or one thali reduces the exact raw materials it uses. You see what you should have in stock at any moment, not only after a monthly count.

Because the deduction happens on the order, the numbers also show waste and variance. When a count in the outlet differs from the system, you can see which item and which period to look at. This is the inventory model behind our work with Natural Ice Cream, where about 251 outlets run on the platform.

Can it handle many brands, stores and tax rules?

Yes. The suite is multi-brand and multi-store from the start. One group can run several brands, each with its own menu, across physical outlets, dark stores and cloud kitchens. GST is handled in the billing flow: CGST, SGST, and the aggregator liability that applies to delivery orders.

Hunger Inc Hospitality runs six outlets on the platform. You can read how that rollout went in the Hunger Inc case study.

How reliable and secure is it?

A point-of-sale that goes down during dinner service costs real money, so the platform is built to stay up. The database runs always-on, with a replica in a second datacentre. Backups are encrypted and stored off-site. Monitoring runs round the clock and pages an engineer when something looks wrong.

An independent security audit (VAPT) by a CERT-In-empanelled firm in February 2026 found no critical or high findings. We do not publish the report, and we do not name the auditor.

Who is it for?

Restrologic POS suits groups with several outlets, dessert and QSR chains, cloud kitchens and dine-in restaurants that take a large share of orders from aggregators. A single restaurant can use it too. If you run a custom process that standard software cannot handle, we also build custom integrations around the suite.

Owners who want to ask questions of their sales and stock data can pair it with Reckoner, our AI analytics console, which works with the suite out of the box.

Frequently asked questions

What is Restrologic POS?

It is a suite of restaurant software: a billing terminal, a waiter app, a self-order kiosk, an online-order desk, an admin panel and reports. All of them share one set of menus, taxes and stock.
